With the latest forging and hardening technology and a chrome vanadium tool steel that is excellently suited for this application, the chisels are manufactured according to DIN standard 5139.
MHG guarantee a Rockwell hardness of 61 HRC in close tolerances over the entire useful length of the chisel. Each is tested for hardness and edge retention.
Handle: hornbeam handle (Ulmer form) brown
Blade: polished, cutting edge angle 27°, sharpened ready for use
Firmer chisels with hornbeam handle brown. Set in neutral carton box.
